Release Notes

Thanks to everyone in the community who has tested Gum and helped us get to this release.
  • More work on content caching - improves performance when the gum code is used on external projects.
  • Fixed interpolation crash.
  • Fixed a bug where turning on/off outline rectangles wouldn't refresh the display immediately.
  • Simplified the internal management of visual elements in code, so now only GraphicalUiElement lists are maintained.
  • Huge refactor simplifying variable assignment code - will make future additions easier.
  • Fixed a bug where setting texture width would sometimes not result in sprites being updated.
  • Default variables for components now have SetsValue to true.
  • Fixed problem where instances in screens attached to bounds wouldn't show up and could make Gum crash.
  • Fixed crash that could occur when changing unit types.
  • Fixed crash that would occur when trying to expose non-instance variables.
  • Fixed crash that would occur when trying to load project that didn't exist.
